Beyond sound: the spatial experience of sound

Sound is not just a material to be composed, it's a volume to be shaped.

To create a sound signature is to lay the foundations of a language. But it's the delivery of that language - its trajectory, its presence, its interaction with the environment - that transforms it into a complete sensory experience. This is where the difference lies between decorative sound design and a truly memorable sound experience.

From creation to staging: precision, technology and emotion

Our approach is based on a dual requirement: in-depth technical expertise and artistic vision. Each project begins with a detailed acoustic study of the venue: volumes, materials, audience circulation, constraints and opportunities. Then comes the choice of diffusion technologies: binaural, multichannel, directional diffusion, sound showers, high-fidelity immersive systems...

But it's above all the staging that makes the difference. The auditory experience becomes scenic, alive and organic. It embraces the architecture, synchronizes with movement, and becomes a musical identity as much as sound marketing.

Five projects, five spatial visions of sound

TimeVallée For Watches & Wonders 2025 in Geneva, Ircam Amplify designed three immersive sound installations for TimeVallée. Assound architects, we imagined devices combining directional sound, high-fidelity sound recordings and original composition to give a sense of watchmaking precision through listening.

Krug For the new tasting room at Maison Krug in Reims, we designed an immersive sound system combining advanced spatialization and original creation. Ten soundscapes translate the Champagne regions into sound, extending the oenological experience through multi-sensory immersion.

Louis Vuitton We designed the Totem Vinyle, a sculptural loudspeaker where every acoustic detail - from the anti-vibration suspension to the omnidirectional diffusion - is thought out to orchestrate an immersive listening experience. This achievement places precision and balance at the heart of sound spatialization.

Cercle Odyssey We designed the immersive sound environment for Cercle Odyssey, a 360-degree nomadic concert. Each performance is conceived as an acoustic space where sound unfolds with precision around the audience, reinforcing the connection between music, artists and spectators. This evolvingsound architecture offers artists new possibilities for playing with sound spatialization and enriching the live experience.

Dior Assound architects, we designed an immersive and elegant atmosphere for Dior's Paris flagship at 30 Avenue Montaigne, in perfect harmony with the Christmas window displays. Each sound element was designed to accompany the visual animations and create a coherent, magical atmosphere. An ultra-stylish exterior design, in keeping with the Dior universe.
