Best Sound Design and Best Corporate Film at the Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards 2024
For "A matter of substance", a corporate film shown during Michelin's AGM to reveal its new positioning, Ircam amplify created an original soundtrack combining orchestral music and sound design, to highlight the group's mastery of materials and its commitment to innovation and sustainable development. Drawing on our research in psychoacoustics and musical composition, our team created a constantly evolving musical score that provides emotional support for the narrative. Our intervention also mobilized our sound design and UX teams, who set out to create an innovative narrative, illustrating each key stage in the transformation of the material.
Today, "A matter of substance" constitutes a unique sonic and visual universe that serves as an identity matrix for Michelin.
